On October 23, Equal WUST took part in the conference “Equality Technologies. Equality Policies at Technical Universities” at the Faculty of Humanities of AGH University of Krakow.

Equal WUST was represented by Prof. Karolina Jaklewicz, the Vice-Rector for Community Development and Integration, and the Rector's Plenipotentiary for Anti-Discrimination, Prof. Anna Borkowska.

The Vice-Rector participated in a panel discussion and shared with the audience our experiences in planning and implementing the Equality, Diversity, and Wellbeing Policy. Prof. Borkowska, took part in workshops aimed at analyzing the challenges, directions, and risks related to the implementation of equality policies at technical universities.

Joint discussions and workshops focused on the specific nature of technical universities, for example their research profile or the absence of faculties and scholars in law and social sciences. This created space to exchange existing solutions already used at our institutions and develop new ones.
